Rowe began playing music professionally at age 18 when his band received its first recording and management contract. The group was moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they played with some of the biggest names in some of the most reputable clubs, stadiums, and theatres across the west coast and Midwest. Rowe made the cover of Vegas Rock’s magazine as “The Next Big Thing” and was being pursued by industry insiders as such. However, Rowe’s life took a dramatic turn when he was invited by a friend to attend a local church.
Rebel Gets Revelation:
Three weeks after Rowe’s first attendance, the church’s pastor told Rowe that God had a “call” on his life and that thousands would be saved, helped, and ministered to by Rowe’s ministry. Within days after this lunch meeting, Rowe became the full time youth pastor and worship director for an international ministry based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Since 2009, Rowe has been ministering by speaking and playing music on a full time basis. Rowe is currently the worship director for Hillsong Network’s Refuge Church based out of San Antonio, Texas. His band, Gandhi’s Gun, is an evangelistic rock group that plays secular venues to spread God’s message to those who would otherwise never know of it, and to go to the places that others would never go. He has been married to his wife Erin since 2011.
Rowe was requested to lead worship for the current and former mayors of San Antonio at city prayer meetings, has ministered in public and private middle/high schools, spoken at youth conferences, and his rock band Gandhi’s Gun has just booked its summer 2018 tour and will be playing with artists such as Lecrae, Crowder, For King and Country, Sanctus Real, Kevin Max of DC Talk, and many more.
Rowe is currently accepting booking opportunities for speaking, worship leading and clinics, and rock concerts with Gandhi’s Gun.
