I grew up holding on to bitterness, anger, and shame. Growing up in a home wrecked with drug and alcohol addiction produced a disconnect with the goodness of God and the harshness of life. Music was a coping mechanism, and I created as a survival instinct.
In 2004, after being taken in by a christian family, I recognized the most broken part of my story was...me. My sin had wrecked my life. I joyfully lost shame, hurt, sin, anger, and more the day I chose to follow Christ. This is what it means to be a joyful loser.
Since then I've used my gifts to exalt Jesus and discuss life through a biblical worldview. I've been married 14 years, have 4 beautiful children, and my oldest son travels with me full time as my DJ.
